The Vet? What is the Vet? It’s short for “Veterinarian.” What is a veterinarian, you asked? It’s a doctor for animals! It’s a very smart lady or man who went to school for a loooong time. They keep animals healthy or help them when they’re sick.
Well, we found Dr. Suzanne! And I like her real well. I stood on the scale and I weighed 25.4 pounds. I’ve gained a lot of weight in growing but she says it’s perfect and normal.
She said if you rub the sides of my body, it should feel like skin directly on ribs with no layers in between. It should be like that my whole life. My mom thought that would be a good idea for her too! Haha
I had to get some puppy shots. They hurt a little bit but that’s OK. I just scratched a few times. I want my shots so they will keep me from getting doggie diseases.
Do you remember going to the Dr. and getting your kid shots? Or getting your shot for kindergarten? I bet you’re healthy too :)

I'm glad you took Charlie. How did he do? There are many different types and sizes of dogs at the vet. Yes, and some leap while they're there! They get excited in new places.
