The Flying Leap


I was running around on the snow in our front yard.  It was about 5 feet high.  It was so fun!  I was in one of those totally happy puppy bursts.  Just freaking out because I was so happy.  Have you ever done that?  Just going crazy and free with a smile on your face?

Anyway, I took a huge leap of joy, but I didn’t know it was a snow cliff.  I crash landed on the cement driveway.  My mom even heard my head hit.  And I hurt both front legs and limped all the way in to the garage.

Don’t worry, I was better after a rest.  The happy and the leap was worth it!  Next time I better check out the snow cliffs though before I leap.
