The Lake, can’t wait

This is the lake near our house.  The ice is slowly melting and it’s fun to watch the water circle get bigger.

I just can’t wait!  This summer my mom and I will be walking round and round and round the lake.  Soon they’ll bring the boats and you can just go for a paddle whenever you like.

There’s the boathouse.  I can’t wait to get on that dock!  Do you think I should jump in?  

I wonder if I’ll need swimming lessons or if Ill just automatically know how to swim,

What about you?  Have you learned to swim yet?  Maybe you’re a pro by now.
