Some people wonder what I eat. Well, my mom is feeding me a puppy organic diet, just like the breeder asked. So I have some kibble each day, the man made dog food. It was first made in the 1940’s. This is my protein. It’s about 1/3 of my diet. My mom cooks it then puts it in baggies for other days. She cuts up my food real small so I digest the food OK.
Here are my veggies and, that’s funny, they showed up upside down. I eat some better than others. My mom says, “you’ve got to learn to like your greens, buddy.” My favorites are cooked sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. Dogs can’t eat tomatoes or onions.
Do you eat your veggies? Which ones do you like? I try to keep it a secret that I spit out tiny bits of spinach, asparagus, and green beans. But my mom always seems to discover it. I can have a little bit of yogurt. I bet you like yogurt.
Here’s some of my fruits. My mom feeds me these by hand so I learn to eat from her, trust and love her.
Which are your favorite fruits?
It’s strange that grapes and raisins are poisonous to dogs. I bet you like them.
I’m a medium liker of eggs and potatoes. Haven’t tried the rice or pumpkin yet. And it’s funny that I don’t like cheese. Many dogs do but I just spit it out.
Do you like scrambled eggs for breakfast? With cheese?
And I also get 2 milk bones per day. Those, broken up, are my treats for going into my crate.
I get about 4 cups of food total per day. What about you? Are you a hungry gobbly eater? Or do you eat tiny like a bird?
My mom is proud that I have no salt, sugar, or butter in my veins. (Except for the tiny bit in treats or milk bones)
My favorite vegetable is peppers. I like peas, too. Pineapple is my favorite fruit. I gave a pineapple to my teacher yesterday and her name is Ms. LoriLee. I love yogurt! Charlie LOVES eggs so much. - Spencer
ReplyDeleteSpencer, that's a lot of good food you like. I was happy to hear that list. When you give Charlie an egg, do you cook it or give it to him raw? Diego can have a few spoonfuls of yogurt as a treat, but not too much.
