I went to the Equestrian Center. At first I didn’t know what it was. But then I found out it was the horses. Any word starting with “equine” has to do with horses. Remember that for school tests someday!
Pretty soon I saw a horse walking clear across the dirt to meet me.
Then we met nose to nose. She wondered what I was and I wondered what she was.
Then the horse with the turquoise coat came and we checked each other out.
We startled each other a bit.
Then the last horse, the one with the magenta coat came over.
A little bit of startle happened. Look at her scraping her hoof. She doesn't want me there.
My mom knew it was time to go. Tails and manes were flipping.
I'm really glad I met some horses. I liked them. I've heard that dogs and horses can stay together happily in barns.
