Monsters in the Sky

What are all these monsters in the sky?  I just want to know what all those big things are.

Everywhere I go, I see one of those big machines working on building a new house.

They look like monsters to me.  And they make really loud booming and screeching sounds.  Do you know the names of them?

Maybe some are cranes or excavators?

Or are they bucket loaders or backhoes?

Just imagine all the new neighbors I’m going to have!  Maybe I’ll have new friends!  And they’ll get new puppies I can play with!  Yippee!

We should be glad all these cool machines were invented.  A bunch of men used to get together and do this heavy shoveling and lifting themselves.  Or they’d use horse or oxen power with rolling logs or pulley systems.

But now these new inventions do the hard work.
