It’s always been natural for canines (that’s what I am) out in the wild to catch and chew their prey. So we just like to chew bones because they taste yummy to us, it’s stimulating to our mind, and we get a whole lot of jaw exercise. It’s relaxing.

You're right! People aren't meant to chew bones. We have different kinds of teeth than dogs do. Humans do like to chew the meat off around bones sometimes.
ReplyDeleteEloise, you're right, we shouldn't eat anything that is too hot. When Diego gets his food cooked, we let it cool a bit so he won't burn his mouth.
